Timing belt install
For the life of me i cannot find the thread again but it mentioned that the timing belt had to be facing a certain way. Something like writing facing the front of car or dots doing something or other.
Can anyone help here i thought the belt went on with writing going either way.
is there an identifier on the new belt to illustrate which way it faces.
Suggestions ?????

The belief was that since the timing belt is a bias belt, there is a right way and a wrong way to install the belt. Much akin to installing directioanl tires the right way or the wrong way. The supposed right way to install the timing belt is to install the belt with the writing readable whilst standing at the front of the car. That was the gist of the thread anyway
