Need a PPI in the vicinity of Philidelphia
I'm looking at a 928 in a suburb of Philly. I looked at the list of 928 mechanics linked to in the Forum Guideline FAQ and found these three. I was wondering if anybody here has had any experience with any of these mechanics(or any other mechanic in the area) and could suggest one to do the PPI.

I have never delt with DINARDO's, they are close to me here. I have never herd anything bad about them. they usally have alot of older german cars around mainly Porsche and Benz. I amy suggest, german automotibe specialist, in Norristown Pa. Better yet: http://www.dgmotoring.com/service.html.
I am in the North Wales area. Is it something you need checked out ??

Not sure how far Califon NJ is from there but I would trust Will Digiovanni from Precision Motorsports to do the job properly. Porsche trained on all models and especially the 944 and 928. He is also on the PCA national tech committee.

I know John & Danny (& Pop) DiNardo personally. They're very thorough & meticulous. I think they would be an excellant choice for a PPI. As a matter of fact, I'm sure they would be a lot pickier than I would be looking at my own car! They specialize in Ferrari's. If you want to know EVERYTHING about a car they are the guys to talk to. Tell them I sent you.
I know Don Galbraith as well. He's also a good choice.

Ok, that looks like 2 votes for Don Galbraith, one for Ed Tatios at Tillson's, and one for the Dinardos.
Cobalt: Unfortunately it looks like Califon is about 2 hours from this car according to Google Maps. If I ever need a PPI done in North Jersey I'll be sure to look him up.
dr bob: I didn't see Earl Gillstrom on the list. Could you point me to some contact information for him?
I'll try giving all of them a call and see if they're able to do the PPI. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

GRT--
I left Earl a PM. You can do the same by clicking on 'User CP' at the top header bar, then selecting 'send a new message'. Target recipient is Earl Gillstrom. System will send him an e-mail alerting him to the message if he doesn't log in here on his own.
Earl is a retired guy who has a nice GT that he rescued. His work is very well respected. He takes local 928 repair business when it's convenient for all involved. I've spoken to him on the phone and swapped e-mails with him several times; He knows what he's doing. Let's see what he says.

Capt. Earl's email: captearlg@gmail.com
He says he'll do a PPI.
Ask Ed in Pacific NW? about Capt. Earl. (user: NeverLateInMyNineTwoEight)
He bought a car on the East Coast and dropped by Capt. Earls to get a real 928 alignment and couple things fixed up before his cross country ride home.

Ooops. Forgot about Earl. Sorry Earl! I guess I don't really think of him as a business, more like a friend! Actually he's much more qualified to do a PPI on a 928 than any of the others.
