What an odd law.......

You could always go to the F50 14" 4 piston Brembos like Mark A runs on his 518whp race car....if they need proof of how well they work just watch one of his videos.....

80S are the "middle year" spindles. I have a set of hats and adaptors to use AP rotors (12.19x1.25) and Outlaw calipers. That would be alot cheaper I think.

If you happened to have some early none S brake rotors and calipers to submit as the "before" a set of S-4 front and rear rotors and calipers would be HUGE in comparison ..... If I have some time I will do some measuring !

I can certainly sell you a complete set of upgraded S4 calipers or GTS fronts and GTS rears with rotors and anything else you may need.
I am also an expert at shipping to Norway.
Let me know if I can help further?

we have plenty of 928s and 944's here in the USA that have been upgraded to the S4/GTS Brembo 4 piston caliper brakes.

your easiest swap is to get the entire front suspension/brakes from a parted S4 or GTS and swap them to your car (hubs, calipers, rotors, upper A-arms, etc...)

the rear calipers only require a 3/4 inch (the hole is 3/4>not the thickness of the washer) flat washer to properly space the Brembo 4 piston caliper on the early cars.

I did this with my '80 Euro, and it was easy.

As to your 450 hp claim, everyone knows there wasn't one in 928 land.....so if the cops are dead set on what the "Factory" offered, you are out of luck(?)

The stock S4 brake setup will be more than enough. If not take pictures of the brakes on some high HP domestics of equaly years, their brakes aren't when as good as the "S" brakes

Hola Senor Ian!
These may fit your old 928 with some modification done.
These are real Porsche GT2 calipers and are light weight.
You will need 18 inch wheels to fit them inside the rim.
They will stop your car like you have hit a wall, plus maybe satisfy the **** Norwegian authorities...

Sorry for my ignorance, but are these 996GT2 or 993GT2 calipers? Or are they the same?

They are from a 996 GT2.
Non composite brake disc version.
Cheers.

I just don't understand the whole bigger brakes thing. It's the traction of the tires in almost all cases I know of that limit braking.

For a street car I agree, get on the track with cheaters or full slicks, then no that isn't the case
