lost wheel lock nut...???
I recently bought a'91 S4, which has only been sitting in the garage (minor accident damage). So I wanted to take off the wheels yesterday and put them on the track car, just to find that the wheel lock nut is missing.
What now?

I assume you're referring to the key. Best bet is to post a picture here.
If it looks anything like this, it may be http://www.mcgard.com/
A couple wheel lock threads:

From: In the boatyard installing the mast and engine, we don't need a crane, we harness the mesquito's! Yeah!
Realistically - there are several methods for taking them off.
When I bought the '90 I had the same problem - (actually every single 928 I have ever purchased had the same problem and I have learned many secrets and acquired many tools.)
Step 1
The best step is to simply drive down to your local Porsche Dealer - their service department has a kit with approx 50 "keys".
Step 2
Sears sells a special set of 4 lock removers - this took off 3 and left one broken...
which leads to...
Step 3
Buy a 3/4" bi-metal hole saw and remove the pilot bit. This will fit right over the stud.Your in no hurry so check often and don't drill into your rim. In reality, it's quit simple - but definitely a last resort. Do your best to stay centered around the stud and you will be able to take the aluminum off the stud with a small vise grip after the rim is off. Worse case scenario is you may have to use a thread chaser.

I had the same problem with my 80'. My lock nuts didn't require a 'key', but rather one of those custom sockets [in between two metric sizes with a funky pattern]. I finally broke down and drove down to discount tire. Five minutes and $0 later, no lock nuts :-)
