Awe... I thought I was the only one who missed him. I'm sure when his heart changes, we will be the first to know about it.

We spoke a bit over the weekend at the DFW breakfast gathering. He's under the 'cone of silence' but otherwise doing fine.

He still has some car control issues that need to be worked out. Rear end doesn't track well behind the front on hard acceleration.

I had good results with the tracking control by replacing the inner bushing that connects the lower control arms to the rear cross member, I also installed used upper control arms from a later car , but my money is on the inner bushings. I had to remove the control arms to press out the old ones and refit the new ones, the old ones seemed to be soft compared to the new bushings Part # 10 in the pet, This was done my 84 Euro.

I don't think this has to do with "heart." It has to do with litigation. Hopefully it will be resolved fairly and we'll get all the gossip when it is over.

Stan, his problem is with the big rear rubber bushings not matching the friction requirements his driveline places on them. He has oversized bushings and has widened the housings an extra few inches, yet they still seem to distort when torque loading is high.

The tracking issue seems to be correctable with steering input. Considering the high cost of those inflatable rear bushings though, he may do better with pedal modulation if he really wants to manage the symptoms.
