Thanks for the offer, Bob.

I do not know if this manifold will ever go to "production" - I was just making it for myself, so we did not pattern everything.

I could take some orders if I had too.

If they all do this - I will have spent so much $$ on dyno charts for this little $100 part that I will be selling them for 6 months before I break even.
You're talking about the spacers when you say $100 part I assume, right?

Either way I'm anxious to see the benefits of all the intake work you've done, it's highly interesting. I know I don't have the money right now (so many other things to worry about, can't spend it on a running engine ) but someday I would like to build a 928 engine, one of those mean 5.0 16v hybrids. There's a guy selling a running 82 928 motor on my local CL, it's all I can do to not just offer him $400 for it and have something extra to tinker with haha.

I will post the dyno results for this manifold when I get them. I hope within the month.

Oh, I see, the four sets that went out were the spacers for the 32V. You really only do have one of the 16V plennums. Is that right?

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention that I peed a little when I saw these new pix.

Carl, aren't those front tires on the wrong way?

Carl, aren't those front tires on the wrong way?
OMG! Yes, yes they are. They are also held on with just 2 nuts apiece.
They are "transport tires". We take the Hoosier slicks (with the soft compound) off when the car comes into the shop because they will pick up every piece of FOD like carpet tape, and we throw on the transport tires. We dont care which way they point as we are just pushing the car around.

Its amazing what you guys focus on. Your looking at an aggresively lightened, front clip removed, distributerless, custom intake equipped, monster air-to-air inter cooler equipped, supercharged 928.... and you see the tire tread is pointed the wrong way.

Good catch.

not to mention that the tires are also worn out .......the intake boots have no clamps , and.........I'm still waiting for you to announce when the sheetmetal intake will be in the catalogue......?
