If I recall correctly, the first year we were there we got stuck behind a minivan. It seems like they'd have some minimum performance requirements for the track tour or maybe allow P-cars only. It is a PCA event afterall.

I agree with you on that one. It's unfortunate that they allow any one driving any vehicle on the track during the VIP touring.

What is the ticket cost for this race? Can I buy them at the gate?

No cost to attend a PCA race. You must however sign a wavier & register to receive an wrist band to allow you to come & go from the track. This year you'll sign the waiver at the gate just before you go over the bridge into the infield. The registration will be over the bridge & just past where our 928s will be parked in the infield a new multi purpose building recently constructed.

The track tour is a $5 donation towards Charity....
The Saturdays tour - they ran all the 928's together - Sunday was hodge podge...

well we were able to run together last year on Sat. because we went as a group together when they formed the lines to take the track. This year of course, you, your son, & I, along with several other 928ers, will be at the autocross on Sat. when they start the VIP track touring. So perhaps we can have our own 928 procession during Sunday's track tour eh??

Isn't there a track tour on Friday? There was the first year we were here. There were very few cars on the track and we ran pretty quick.
Saturday was much slower because of all the trucks and vans.
We usually miss Sunday's tour because we have to head for home.
