Chris,

Here's the perfect car. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ashmere-4.html. (See Page 4).

Not Cashmere inside but Linen is also very nice (not that I'm biased ). You will need to condition the leather a bit more to keep it looking new but that is not a big deal really.

My 91 White/Cashmere S4 is for sale if interested. Roger from 928's R Us knows about the car and it is in excellent shape. GTS wing and mirrors are the only difference from stock. I know you wanted black, but this is an exceptional car and at least the interior is the color you're looking for.

Not my cup of tea, but still, a very nice color.

Eric, I'll shoot you a PM. Thanks.

Chris

No explanation needed. If it doesn't do it for you then that is all that matters. I wouldn't buy a red 928 for the same reason, just doesn't do it for me.

Good luck on the hunt!

Sounds like what you are looking for is Sharkdad's car. His is a black/cashmere GT and he is also here in the NoVa area. If you didn't have pics he would definitely be the man to supply you with some. Don't think it is for sale BUT then again isn't everything for the right price?

Good luck on your search,

Michael

Ryan Perella has a black-and-cashmere S4 offered. Car is in the Los Angeles area. He has it listed at $16k in his sig line, but will consider offers. The car looks to be in good condition, although I've only seen it once so can't share any more than that. I do know that it has new brake fluid since he borrowed the flush kit from me a week or three ago. If you need a third-party cosmetic PPI, let me know and it will be done. A thorough mechanical PPI is a must if it passes the cosmetic muster, and for that I'd recommend that it be done by Greg Brown in Anaheim. That's less than an hour away from where the car lives, and will give you a detailed list of what's right and what it might need.

Happy hunting!
