Yes I am, no issues in will over a year.
I am also running a 330mm OMP steering wheel in the car.
On the track it is very manageable, but it is abit of a work out so make sure you have strong arms

Never tried it.
But is the weight loss on the car worth the possible driver fatigue if you guys are running long driver sessions.
Maybe the factory large steering wheel may make no-assist steering tolerable.
What width front tires will you guys be running.
Sticky race rubber or street tires.

I could easily do hours behind the wheel of my car with that setup on the track. For street driving it is a non issue except in parking lots, but that is mainly due to the big meats I have on it.

I did it for six months and it's a bitch, even with the stock 16s on the car. Highway driving wasn't bad but in town was very heavy and parking lots are almost impossible. I got used to it, but let my brother drive the car and he almost went off the road trying to make a right turn. No way in hell would I do that for the race. I'd call power steering a critical element.

How far forward can the seat be slid forward or how many extensions can you put on the steering wheel.
Maybe driving the car Nascar style will compensate for lack of steering boost.
(steering wheel in the chest driving position)
