My 86 has red handled pliers.

Did they change colors in the later model years or something?

Todd and Willhoit are good for the 928 market. Complain about them and you might as well just complain about capitalism in general.

You should see the way Gretch jumped Todds *** on another forum. He even thought that Todd was going to try and kick his *** at SITM. That's the funniest thing I read all week. It's getting really stupid on the internets as of late.

Maybe we need a higher membership fee.

I missed that. My knowlege of these guys is from a few years ago and the fact that they are still doing it implies that they are doing it right.

I am going to guess about the forum and browse for a little entertainment. Thanks.

Rennlist: worst place ever to sell a 928.

Confirmed once again.

Nice car, hope they make some money on it.

Todd does get a little carried away with his descriptions. I think that means that the mechanic had a barbecue at his shop.

If you read the comments from Todd on the Pelican thread George linked, you see some things that make it clear that neither Todd nor his mechanic were real sure what they were doing.

Todd fancies himself as a wordsmith, sometimes letting that cloud his judgment. He got "rotisserie" from Barrett-Jackson, I heard it again yesterday on a re-run. As nice as this car is, I think he is abusing the term, but its all subjective. This is what a saleman does, emphasize the selling points.

Well said… Todd is the epitome of a wordsmith and a salesman, but that doesn’t make him a bad guy. He’s about as passionate about 928’s as anybody I’ve ever met. To him it is the thrill of the hunt, the pride in fixing every minor detail, and sealing the deal.

As far as rotisserie… actually Todd has a friend that does true rotisserie restorations to older vettes and once he added that word to his vocabulary he been using it often. To him it means top to bottom and inside and out. Since it doesn’t have a frame, we all know a rotisserie restoration on a unibody wouldn’t be feasible.

By the way, if anyone wants me to look at or drive any of his cars for sale... just let me know. I can offer my honest opinion and he only lives a couple miles away.

I think that is a fair price and appropriate.

Hope the new owner is on Rennlist so we can see some more pics and welcome them to shark ownership.
