Cheers List,

With the 57mm front offset wheels you will have no problems with up to a 235 wide tire and a ride height of 145mm+.

I do think you could fit a 245 front tire.....on the 8" wide rim, but it is slightly outside of the 86% aspect ratio....& might rub a tiny bit at lock over....

Yes, I'm currently running 245 fronts with the Carrera III's. The reason I said 235 is because it's 100% guaranteed to fit. 245 comes close and there are lots of 928's around that have very very low ride heights. Most of the time the owners don't even know it.

I agree 100%.....my front ride height is as 155mm....so its a bit on the low side...but still clears no problem.....

My race 928 has 295/30-18 fronts at about 110mm ride height....it doesn't rub much..but does have double rack stops

How is the ride with 285/30/18 rear? I'm still debating on 265/35 vs 285/30.

I've got 285 rears on mine and they work great. 225's on the front but will go to the 245 or 235 when I get tires. 225 is too small for these rims. Dave are those after market CIII's?
