Test Points:

All testing done at plugs to fan controller. Fan controller is located in the 'hump' between the passenger seat and the door. Controller plugs are, IIRC, labeled. If not, Plug II is the lower plug. Plug I is the upper plug.

Short hand:
"P1-3" means Plug I, pin 3
"P2-7" means Plug II, pin 2

1) Temperature sender in radiator.

Resistance between P2-1 and P1-7
60 degrees C: 3862 +/- 150 ohm
85 degrees C: 1582 +/- 54 ohm
100 degrees C: 967 +/- 36 ohm

4) Temperature switch intake / auto transmission temp switch

Resistance between P2-3 and P1-7

0 ohm, intake temperature > 87.5
Inf ohm, intake temperature < 82.5

0 ohm, transaxle temperature > 110
Inf ohm, transaxle temperature < 105

Be careful disconnecting the plugs. There's not much slack in the harnesses. I've found bad/old/busted solder joints on the pins in the plugs. Might not be a bad idea to - carefully - unsnap the back off the plugs and examine the pins.

I had a similar problem, turned out to be a faulty fan control unit. Located under the hood in front of the radiator. Passenger side. Looks like a black amplifier with fins.

Here's a link that may help.

Then head down to Tony's Silver Bullet page.
If memory cells are still intact - you'll find it in the "Where is it located"

here

Many thanks to Tony....

You're welcome

I followed the instructions from the above link and when I pulled the wires off the temp sensor and closed the hood the fans did not run (after warmed up prior). Reattached them and closed the hood and they ran again.

I got a new temp sensor ordered for $15.14 + shipping.

Thanks again!
