Default burgandy interior; what type wood trim would look good?

I've decided to keep the burgandy interior; has anyone gone with the wood trim parts from jager, and if so, which color did you use?

How about CF? I may go with CF down the road. Driftwood or black cherry? Ask Nichole, she is very good with this type of thing and sells the Jager kits. For the other colors you would realy need a sample to put up against the interior.

I would think a lighter color like the rosewood which has a lot of grain would add contrast and interest....

Geez Jim, I didn't know you had such a good sense of colors and fashion. It's amazing what little bits of latent personality traits pop up on this site.
BTW, I believe you are correct in your selection.

Don,
Is it full burgundy ?...( carpets too ) If you want to change it a little going with gray or silver carpet would look nice on a silver car. Probably not that much more money then adding wood. Plus new carpet gives the car the "new car smell".

Hi Don:

There are multiple options, depending on what you want to achieve. I have sold multiple kits to owners of 928s with burgundy interiors, and can look at the material samples for you again.

I'll be happy to go over the options with you, but this is better done off-line. If you PM me your phone number and a time range in which you can be reached, that would be ideal.

I have another customer who has a burgundy dash with linen seats. He chose a light wood color that is almost the same as linen. I always hoped to get some pictures of the pieces installed, but never did.

The above is a synthetic wood.

Go burlwood so you get the matching grant evolution gear shift ****.

I wen't all burlwood. Go with Nicole. A couple of my pieces are from here and a couple are ebay specials. The stuff from Nicole still looks new 2 years later. My ebay stuff is in the center console and looks decent but is not as good a fit and finish as what Nicole carries. Burlwood can also be found in large stick on sheets so you can customise other parts like you console sides.

Ditto on going with Nicole. She is very detailed oriented and helped me to make a right selection over the phone. She sent some trim samples to me for a small fee which was applied as a credit towards my actual purchase. Here are a couple of shots of my burled walnut panels which I bought from her. They looked great and livened up my interior.

+2 I think the burlwood makes a nice blend.
