Default 85 Euro gets new kicks (996 hollow twists)

Got some new rims and tires from Darien Nunn recently. I knew they would be nice, but I was surprised by how much pop they give to the car!

Before:

After:

Of course, the rear quarters had to be rolled just a little to make those 11 inch bad boys fit in there.

Whaddya think?

(The car hasn't quite fully settled down yet, so ignore that for now, please. )

Next, it gets twisted under the hood. The engine which was recently installed, and intended to be temporary, is extremely tired, and thanks to Potsie Webber, its replacement has arrived a little sooner than we anticipated. Our additional thanks to Jim B. and Tom at International for playing 20 questions with us all week. This lonely S4 engine is about to find a new home under the hood of an 85 Euro.

Ahh, they weren't that bad, if you like sticking your fingers in lots of holes.

(That seems to appeal to some guys. )

Should look great when the front settles back down. Personally I liked the BBS better.

It's funny how a set or rims makes a car look 10 years younger. Every time I see your pic with you in the white skirt with the bbs rims I think of the song cherry pie.... Now you need to find a new skirt to match the new rims????? Wish I had some extra $ to pick up the bbs rims..... They would be great for a trip to the track!
