I believe you may have gotten lucky. I spoke with your contact about two months ago. He went out of his way to check supplies in the US and Europe and didn't find anything. Really nice guy by the way.

He did find a few black ones out there though.

Oops, short memory. Maybe if enough inquiries are made they will make more.

Well I also checked them out and can't find any anywhere - so looks like NLA.

I bought a set (front and rear) recently that were represented as factory mats in classic gray. I have no way to confirm if they are factory or if the color is indeed classic gray but they are nice and include mat clips.

The problem is that my car has burgundy interior. I thought they might look alright as the exterior is meteor met. but I was wrong. I'll sell them for $80 plus shipping if anybody is interested or would trade for a nice set of burgundy mats (gently used would be alright). They look like the ones Brian posted just in classic gray.

Also the embroidery on the OE mats is slightly larger and much sharper as well. Also these OE Porsche Mats don't have the grey foam backing they have a black heavy rubberized backing that makes them quite stiff and robust.

I lucked out and got the OE mats at a reasonable price on some NOS..

Porsche mat on the left, Lloyds on the right...
Thats a very telling pic, thanks for posting, i honestly would have thought the Lloyds were better but good to know the Porsche ones look like the ones to get.

AFSHIN, CALL SUNSET! They have these available last i checked and they are $80

Afshin,

Where these black mats you found the ones with the holes on each lower side for the retaining clips that bolt under the seat rails?

Ryan I believe Sunset only has black remaining. If that has changed and they told you they have Linen I will be on the phone with them today ordering a set!

To be honest I didn't see a picture of the Black OE mats and I'm not certain how they are retained. I was only told that they were still available through several suppliers including Specialist and possibly Roger. If I had black carpeting or the right color interior I would be all over these. Its only a matter of time before these are gone too.

Just call them, they don't STOCK anything, last i checked they were going to order Cashmere so thats something other than black. Again, they don't have any of it in stock but they can get it if it exists.

FWIW, there have been a number of times ive heard something is "NLA" only to call sunset and order it.

I suggest you call them, if they don't have it or its NLA then that sucks, but i wouldn't go by here-say, just call them, its simple.

Google "Sunset imports" they are in Oregon, and ask for Porsche Parts

FWIW, the black OEM mats I bought from Afshin do not have the holes punched in them for the mat retainers that bolt to the front seat bolts. The GTS I bought does have the OEM mats and the retainers, so I'll use that example as a template to mount up the black mats in the GT. I can post a pic of the mat retainers if anyone really cares.

Rob I would like to see these if possible.

I will give Sunset a call but I don't hold much hope mainly because I've already tried several sources which go direct to Porsche both here in the US and in Germany.
