Default Shocks installed

I want to thank Bill Ball, Matt (Edco) and Rich Sanders for helping me get the front shocks (Boge reds) installed yesterday on my 89 GT. As I was unable to do any of the physical labor due to my recent back surgery, Matt volunteered to be my hands for the job. It was a bonus having Rich there and with Bills vast experience doing all things 928 the job went off without a hitch. I will be giving it a through test today to access the change, but it the short drive yesterday afternoon, I could already tell that the new shocks were stiffer with less "floating" over bumps. Again thanks to Bill, Matt and Rich.

Hey Steve,

Glad I could help, welcome to the new Boge reds experience

It's the best $850 bucks I spent on my car, The install was very smooth and it was great to see Bill & Rich again.

Steve is stuck seeing me every day at work

Weather was perfect for working in the driveway. Many thanks to Bill for yet another wrenching day at his place....we bled my clutch and ran some diagnostics on my 87...might need a new ISV. The four of us were able to swap out Steve's front shocks in no time and install his brand new belly pan. Bill also showed off his new Snap-On AC service machine he scored from a shop that was going out of business...very nice and even came with over 50lbs of R-12!!!! Bill ROCKS!

Hey Steve, haven't heard from you in a while, glad you're "back"... heh. Always great to finish those jobs that make the car feel fresh. I hope your back mends soon so you can get out more often.

I would have enjoyed coming by but am up to my eyeballs in my own project...

Sounds like you guys had a productive day. I've been up to my elbows on the T-Bird for the last week but I finally have it back on the road, purring like a 53 year old kitten. Next job, brakes on the track car and then inner fuel pump on the GTS.

Brakes are easy.....but the inner fuel pump might be a serious PITA if the tank if mostly full.....
