I'm assuming this will work he has borrowed my adapter off of my 82 thats on the lift. My wheel is a sport line so should be the same, is it safe to order this?

The Momo hub adapter comes in various spline diameter sizes. I used the 928 Specialists website for reference:
https://www.928gt.com/ps-1661-119-mo...l-hub-kit.aspx
The webpage shows a Momo model 7005 adapter. Here is another list which confirms the 7005 adapter is the one for 928s:

P/S.
You will also need to be sure that the wooden steering wheel has the same five mounting holes which fits into the five mounting holes for the hub adpater.
