Check distributor rotors are seated properly. No evidence of burning at the contact points? I assume the new wires included coil wires.

Can the idle stabilizer be accessed without removing the intake? If that has to come off, it will be heading for a powder coating. I really like the looks of the ones in here:

This sounds like a good place to start my next ‘project’. I was thinking about working down under on the tranny, TT, flex plate, and x pipe, but now I leaning toward under the hood work for the winter.

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to doing a WP/TB project at the same time as intake restoration? Following is a list of things I’m considering doing next:

Roger’s Fuel lines (very high on my list)
Vacuum line kit I bought from that other guy in Texas a few years back (not sure if I should use these)
ISV, Knock Sensors, and Flappy
Powder coating
TB/WP, Porken tensioner

Other possibilities:
MAF rebuild
Injector cleaning/rebuild

If you had around a thousand to spend updating/upgrading under the hood, what would you suggest knowing that the plugs, wires, distributor, and coils are new? The timing belt was changed 5 year/20K miles ago, and everything else is presumed original on a 100K car.
