There's a rotor supplier in Corona, Ca that offers plated rotors for about $600/set, but unfortunately they are the cheap Chinese versions with questionable metalurgy. Not sure I want to be the test pad dummy for rotors that may not be stable at full braking temps.
An option for me is to use one of the cold galv sprays for the finned areas at the edges, and just use hi-temp paint on the hat section. If they aren't plated, they will probably be black on my black car.
Let us know what you find out, Roger.

Last time I bought a set was a while ago, but I got them from D.R.
Complete set of everything front and back........ street pads, cast hole Zimmerman rotors, wear sensors and anti squeal patches. whole shooting match for about $600.

Searched and searched for cad plated, zinc plated rotors.
Zimmerman do not do them and have no plans to do so.
Only the eBay supplier in Orange County and they are not OE.
I use a Hammerite finish on the hats of my rotors.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

I used the hammerite finish on the hats and fins of my rotors on the GT and love them.
I would suggest to anyone to do this, it makes a huge difference. Rotor hats usually end up some funky brown or black blotchy looking thing. They really look like crap!
