I'm sure most of you have already discovered this.
Looks like it could have been saved (maybe). That is an awesome color combo

yeah the engine will also have the crap rods too, i guess the crank is worth something, but thats it
pistons are also the not so great GTS variety. (Can GTS pistons be drilled so as to eliminate the oil consumption issues?)
UH, and it was a 5 speed........

Crap- The only Cobalt Blue GTS on U.S. soil that I know of and it's gone.
What a shame!
Transmission is currently $3050. Wonder what it'll go to?

and reserve hasnt been met
i wonder what the seller thinks the engine is worth? I honestly dont think its worth more then $3K and thats pushing it.
The transmission is another story, i have no clue, i went to $3,000, i know someone who need a GTS transaxle but not sure how much he is willing to go on one.

UGGGGGGGGHHHHH. That was the car that was sold through Barrett Jackson a few years ago. I believe it was B-J two years in a row. That was the only 5 speed Cobalt Blue Metallic GTS w/o side moldings that I knew of. That's THE car I wanted. What a shame.

why wait Sean?
Honestly, if i am the first to meet $3000 and no one else goes there i need to be OUTBID before anyone else has a shot.
If you already know you want something, put your bid in, if 2 people will go to exactly the same amount, the bidder who put it in first is the winner. No one else seems to get that point though.
There is a reserve and i cant imagine what thats set at. considering the seller wants $85 for the tool panel without the tools (Something i think most of us give away if need be) then I think the reserve and target price set by the seller is insane.
I have to imagine they paid no more then $10K for the car, and i think they will try and get $100 out of it before its over.

I was looking for a GTS trans. That one may go very far into expensive though.
