Even with all that wasted money the country still has free heath care for all of it's citizens.

On the other hand it is a "dry" country (The sale and public consumption of alcohol is banned), so if you can't drink I guess you try to collect as many cars as you can... it all makes sense now

the failure of the company was quite a while ago, they're just getting around to selling the cars... they already repo'd his homes and other assets, now it's the cars
according to the source, some of the 928s are already sold (he missed on 2 buys) but they're slowly getting them auctioned off, must not be too much demand for 928s in Brunei

This guy and the rest of the “royal” family are nothing but a bunch of morons. Couple of my co-workers worked in Saudi Arabia and the stories they can tell me are really something. The level of education of the actual citizens is extremely low. Low education lots of money and power is a dangerous combination. Vast majority of the working force are foreigners and therefore many that live there (even for decades) are not citizens. Women are not considered to be “human” and the list goes on.

Anyone wanna buy a kidney, 'cause I'm sure there's a GTS to my liking somewhere on that list.

Interestingly, I did not see a Suzuki GSX-1300R on there. I always figured the Sultan to be a Hayabusa kind of guy...

Did someone say that some of the cars are rotting in a poorly maintained storage facility? That doesn't make any sense considering the huge investment.

Man that list is redicoulous, I would love to see them in person.

I wonder if he has a street legal 935, I've seen only one of these in the US back in 1984.

I've never understood the point of such massive but private car collections. There's no chance on Earth they'd each get driven enough to prevent all the seals, belts, and tires from drying out. The batteries would all routinely die from nonuse. It's just a huge waste. I'd maybe understand if they were in a museum or otherwise routinely open to public display, and not intended to be driven, but why keep them for personal use? Just to say you own 4 F40s, each in a different color? This is a form of psychosis, i.e. manic obsessive behavior.

But there's an NSR750... oval piston 8 valve per cylinder V-four street bike! That's what I want... oh, and maybe one of the corollas...

How fast do you want to go? The XJ2200 is good for 217mph, held the record until the McLaren came out.
