I’m working on a 928 web page on Googlepages. I hope to move it to a Rennlist web page, when I get my membership number…anyway, thought I’d post a link if anyone wants to check it out and share their thoughts and suggestions for improvement…the link is https://sites.google.com/site/jonchism/ Please let me know if the link doesn’t work. Thanks

Working on the "Bling"....I changed the background colors on the pages, that got rid of the different color behind the links.....underlines are automatic, I guess, because they are links to another page....still learning how to use all the features on “Googlepages”... Thanks for the suggestions
Well, unfortunately last year my old website became "no longer available"...even to me for some reason. I think I deleted an old email account that it was linked to and that killed it I guess. So I've been working on re-building my site on Weebley.com which is website creating / hosting site. It's free and really easy to use. Here's the link to my new site if you're interested: http://jonsporsche928.weebly.com Its a work in progress, just like my 928.
Nice format Jon and interesting also, could you tell me what you did with the centre console fresh air vent treatment. Cant quite decide if you painted it or some kind of overlay treatment, would be interested to know , as I think it brightens things up nicely ?...thank.s

Thanks Ken. After I pulled all that warped out plastic covering off, there was no leather underneath. The dash and instrument pod had cracks of course and were covered in globs of sealant. I ended up using Bondo to fill in the cracks and sanded it down real good then I spray painted the whole dash with sand-able primer and sanded it smooth and then I spray painted it all with a top coat of black auto exterior paint. It was a lot of work and it really did look good for a while but you can start to see where the cracks were again. I had a bunch of pictures of the work I did on the dash on my old site. I 'll try to find them and post them on the new site. I'll also take some of what the dash looks like now so you can see how it held up. It still looks way better then it did when I bought the car. I did the center console and air vents the same way, I used silver paint on the vents, parts of the console instead of all back to give it some show.
