I'm not a big guy but have owned a 928S and my current 951 and performance wise the 928 had more out of the box, but my 951 has been far easier to upgrade the performance.
Also, my 928S had instant tq where as my 951 has more power than the 928, due to mods, but there is lag.
But in terms of roominess, the 928 had a little more, but I don't think enough to make a difference for guy your size.
Hehe...they are quick, but thank goodness (for the other car owners) that they are rather difficult/expensive to modify, so many people leave them stock.
I just did some timed runs in my daily-driver Volvo last week after a new mod - turns out my 70-90mph acceleration is the same as a 320-hp S4 (4.7 secs).
Speek of the devil. I pull in to get some fuel last night, and there sits a 928. Turns out to be the clerks car and she comes out to show it to me. It's a 79. Unfortunately it didn't have original seats for a true fit, and I didn't get in it. She started it up but it didn't run all that well. Sounded like it was missing on one cylinder, maybe it just needs a tune up but she was nice and I'm not one to bash another's car. I was just glad to see another Porsche on the road since I don't see many up here. It's a non sunroof, 5 speed and may be put up for sale, I'll let you know if it does.

That is a good point also. The 951 and 928 are pretty rare on the road. The only problem with the 951 is it is easily mistaken for a 944 or 924 by the layman.
So with the 928 it is more of a stand out on the street; thanks in part to Tom Cruise putting them on the map.

Unfortunately, people confuse my 928 for a 944 all the time
What kind of diet makes you shorter ? I have lost weight before and it actualy makes some things seem longer . Beside I am big boned .....I think that was what she said !
I'm only 6'0" and have more than considerable girth, and fit in my S4 fine. I wouldn't call my entrances/exits graceful, but they're not totally embarrassing like getting into a Lambo or something
