Good looking car! Looks like an Eaton mp90 or mp112 supercharger, not a twin screw.

I like the XJ8L, but unless it comes with a Pharmacy degree for my son, I don't think that the objective will be met.

Regarding the 1981, although I am always intrigued by a reference to double D's, I will have to pass. I have a slightly older model myself and I understand that the costs increase exponentially when you start combining the use of multiple units at the same time - especially if the one with legal rights happens to find out.

HA HA

But even worse, i think the DD reference was that its his "Daily Driver" So you would no doubt need a PPI on that

Yeah, anyone bragging about an '81 model as a DD probably only takes "short" trips. As far as the PPI, I'd take special care to have the crank position sensor and the thrust bearing checked. The torque tube and the front rack are other notable areas that loosen up too. Please send photos!

My 1997 model wife is burning oil, which is in turn causing me to lose coolant.

wait wait wait a second here!

1997 model wife? Wouldnt that make her 11 years old?

I thought the model year is the date of birth is it not? NOT THE DATE OF FIRST REGISTRATION!

Get your model years straight here please
