Default oil filter shelf life

I've got a ton of oil filters in a box from PO. They are at least 5 years old, probalby older. Still good?

What brand are they? If they are Mahle, they are good. If they are Fram, Delco, etc. then I wouldn't bother with them.

I don't know Ryan -- What I'm going on is the many sites I've seen where various people cut filters apart and compare them -- Fram is usually bottom of the heap. I wouldn't even use one on my 320K mile Ramcharger.
