Euro S 300hp. 80-83 Euros had K-Jet CIS This one is well worth saving IMHO.

It may be a decent deal depending on reserve. If someone informs him what he really has, reserve will rise.

And it is non-interference so the belt should not be an issue.

Ouch, long way back for that car. Good for the track. I especially like the inverted steering wheel.

What is a solid Euro 4.7L 300hp engine and 5 spd worth today?

Whatever someone will pay, just like the whole car.
I don't know what used market value is. The engines aren't very common (depending on your measure for comparison, I guess) and the top end is a good retrofit for the US cars. The Euro trans could have a higher gear ratio....but would still have the crappy synchros compared with the 85 and up. Issue is, you'd probably have it on hand for a while until someone needed it for a track car or due to a broken cam or t belt failure.

VIN says its '82 ROW S but its always good to check actual engine code. '82 MY was last year 4.5L ROW was made and thus even if engine MY and market it was meant for matches cars MY it could still be 4.5L underneath S intake. Unlikely but definitelly possible. In US 4.7L '83-84 US short block would be probably more common fix though.
