Black Widows eat their mates... I'll say no more.

In keeping with the color scheme the "hour glass" could be painted like they do the ghost flames in a real subtle grey.

yet another good idea......

The bummer is they all cost $$$$ which I am VERY short of lately.....since in true wifey fashion....you get something for $10 I get something for $10....which in wife logic means $20......

Know of somewhere I can get a two carat diamond for cheap???

my old girlfriend named all my P cars seemed they all had a personality of thier own, my first car a standard guards red 79 euro she named Budda cause everything seemed so slow and calm when driving it my next buy was a 79 auto black wpo in really bad shape i bought it sight unseen for $2000 so you can imagine how bad it was she named it Brutus cause its was a brutal pain in the *** and is still giving me issues thats a whole nother story for another time my third buy was a black 77 924 i kinda bought if for the GF at the time she thought it was really pretty and cute so she called it Bella ya i know tacky but it stuck with the car the GF is gone but i still have the car (rebuilding the dash right now) and kinda wierd they all start with B just the way it happened my 4th buy was a gold 79 928 euro auto so the name intsanly became Goldie and the car kinda suits the name just fun to driveseems like the car never has a care in the world it sat for 15 yrs and all it needed to go back on the road was 4 tires three windshield wipers a fuel pump and a front main seal (put a new timing belt on it too but the old one was brand new) my latest buy is another guards red strandard 79 928 for $1000 came out of NY looks like it was an accident recovery its pretty rough looks like its bent in the middle so its unofficial name is Banana for now but it does run and drive(test drive in the field next door)
as for your race car i would say something like Back in black or the Black tuxedo or something different like Chrystal black lace or Black leather or maybe the Black glove
good luck racing let us know how well u do

paul with 4 79 928s and one 77 924

No help with the name but I saw the car briefly in person today while stopping by for some parts.

It's absolutely amazing looking. Congrats on the new toy.

Seems like you struck gold, have you ever tried the Danish brew "sort guld" (black gold)?

Well if you wanted to do a Black Widow theme and keep costs down, you could do the PORSCHE letters on the back bumper red which is where a Black Widow spider has red.
In the cabin/interior is a good place for red, and I like the idea of some type of sticker for head lights maybe red here.
Of course since I own a red car I am biased.

I was already planning on red seats....red lettering on the back sounds good.....now I'm debating a red hourglass on the hood or roof??

You could do a red hour glass on the roof and then when there is more $ you could do red narrow stripes/legs in a abstract manner that would not look like it was suposed to be legs but gives the concept. Kind of like some of the ALMS GT2/GT3 schemes.
