Default Ideas on two-toned dash upholstery?

Does anyone have pics of their dash / pod / center console after going two-tone? My 89 has black and cashmere interior and I've been thinking of ideas to include the cashmere in the dash area....any ideas??? Maybe the top of the center console in cashmere that runs all the way up to the windshield? Pics of other interiors that may translate well to the 928.

I've done a search with no luck.

Thanks in advance!

As a rule, the dash, center console and door armrests are all the same color
It would be hard to introduce a second color into any of these components without affecting the others.

I've been playing with this for a while now and one solution I like is to re-design the center console, by making it more upright and letting it go over the dash. Much like what Aston as done with the DB9.
There are a lot of advantages to such a console, especially for those who need to add more components, but it's tricky because of the close tolerance between the pod and the console.
I'm not done with it yet, but it's on the drawing board.

I like the full cashmere interiors. An added benefit is reduced pod and dash temperatures and less cracking.

Paul,
I have had a very similar idea. Taking it more vertical and then over the dash. Making the dash look like it is 2 pieces. I love the idea of more component space and the more contemporary appearance. Maybe even reshaping the pod to flow with the new center console to boot.

Adding a center over dash would allow for a "pop up" nav screen to be included.....I likey!

I like the full cashmere as well but then I would be replacing perfectly good roof liner, column covers, door panels, quarter panels. Plus I am really after a more up to date looking dash face lift.

There were quite a few cars with colored dashes and black pods. However, breaking dash or console into multiple colors is difficult.

Gemballa has made such attempts in the past, possibly because the light colored leather they used was reflecting in the winshield too much. However, I did not like the look of it at all.

One of my cars has a brown leather dash and a black vinyl pod. You really don't notice the difference unless your looking for it. My other two cars have matching dash and pod.

Ugh! Mixing Italian flash and German minimalism is like mixing ice cream and mashed potatos. Each good in it's own right...but never intertwined.

With a little bit of cheese it's a good combination. The ice cream acts like flavored sour cream.

Any suprise I like that interior?
Most 928's are all black. I'm sorry to anyone that goes for this. But everytime I see a 100% blacked out interior, it reminds me of a Civic.

Kinda Halloweeny <<< I lay claim to this word! It doesn't sear your retinas, so it's cool.
