I have a few pics of how I think it goes(will need to run the wire better and order the male ond of the connector if correct) I also have a few other questions.

1. My car is a euro but I believe a air pump was added when federalized.(what do I need to do to delete the air pump)

2. I have a vacume item next to my break booster(what does it connect to)

3. I have a line running from the back side of the engine runs next to the passenger side valve cover(where does it go...air pump?)

4. I have some typr of sensor connected to the passenger side on my intake(what is it and what does it connect to)

5. On the front strut tower bar I have a cylindrical sensor? how does it hook up and what does it do.

I have pics of everything I am requesting info on.... If any1 could chime in I could really use the help.

The green wire should be replaced ! it has a connector. The red hose was part of the air injection smog pump. The round thing on the cross bar is the fast idle for when the A/C compresssor is turned on .. The tuna tin can is a vacuum limiter added for smog but plumbed out from under the intake from where they usually would be on a USA car. The sensor (solenoid) down between the intake runners is a Euro only # 928 605 103 00 solenoid valve with distributing piece which I believe has something to do with changing the control pressure on the CIS possibly for hot starts but the USA 78-79 CIS has no such solenoid....That may have been unplugged during the Federalization process ???

It does go into the distributor you will need to pull up to remove the connection which mean you MUST mark the location of the distributor and the position of the rotor. Because of the angled gear drive on the cam the rotor will MOVE as you pull up and will MOVE as you push it back down. Click into the store below and search for "green" the wire pops up on the first page $101 for the correct original part.
