I just bought a set of wheels from a mechanic at the dealership last week. Nice guy. Can probably enlist him to help. Let me know if you want to go down that path.

Jeez I hope no one puts up a post on how to start our cars without a key!

C'mon, be nice. I had a really bad day. The reason you don't see me posting about lost keys and what-not is because I use the search, typically. Like I said, had a bad day. The lost lug lock was just insult to injury. But I did find you can do a brake bleed without removing the wheels.

Hey Jim I was just joking around. I also had a rough day and was just trying to lighten up everyone's spirits, not trying to be difficult.

I do hope your day turned out better.

Oh sorry man. I didn't realise until I read what I posted that I was being a bit north of snippy. Heh. All good in the hood. And yes, I am feeling better.

AGREED, I just did that after one broke from a stud someone had damaged while working on my suspension. Toss those, they are valueless.

How many times have we heard that someone's wheels were stolen?

In all the years I've been here I'd say zero.

Wheel locks are much more trouble for the owner compared to the protection they provide.
