Default Possibly the quickest 928 on Earth-Quarter mile

Bought a used piano off craiglist last weekend. Drove out to the guys house to pick it up outside of DFW down by Seogoville. Turns out, this guy was into drag racing. When I asked him what kind of car he had built, my jaw hit the floor when he told me what he had. Out of all the people (about 4 million) in the DFW Metroplex, I meet the one guy who has probably the fastest 928 on the planet (in the quarter mile anyway).

brett in the UK has a 1982 that will kick that car's *** to kingdom come. Brett's 82 sports in excess of 2000bhp, weighs 500lbs and does the 1/4 in less than a second. Top speed tested by Brett is 340mph, on his way to the grocery store.

And the best of all, the nitrous can be un-velcroed from the rear seats to return the car 100% to stock.

Default For the Vette crowd

Here are a couple of pictures of the car he will campaign next year along with the 928. Here is a quote from the e-mail that his wife sent my wife:

"Yes, it is okay if he posts the pictures. I have attached a picture of the new car that he will be racing next year, its a 07 C6 Vette with a Hemi engine. Approximately 3,000 horsepower."

Dang. This thing looks like the batmobile.

Laura left the stats of that 928 here on the desk.

It's a Murf Stage "Saturn V".

I think he told us it was an 1/8 mile car. I want to say it was 4.456 seconds in the 1/8th. Something along those lines. Which means this is a easy 7 second car in the quarter if it is geared accordingly.

He also told me that this is a 1978 model.

Looking at that car is like watching tentacle ****. It's weird, and disgusts a lot of people, but I just can't look away.
