You'll be fine and have a wonderful trip. I've driven my 82 on three 800+ mile trips this year and the 85 on 2 800+ mile trips this summer. The open road is where these cars shine (as I'm sure you know). I'm in Cincinnati for a couple of months so if your journey takes you through here and you need something let me know.

Seems like most of the twisties around here are bumpy, neglected and crowded.
We should think about moving to Montana just for the driving!
(ummm....you got any cities out there, or is it all big sky and mountains?? gotta make a livin' too! )

H - I can see a seattle shark trip in the spring for sure - by then I'll have a few more bugs ironed out, and what a drive that would be from here - I understand it's only about 10 hrs - not bad for a long weekend to the nearest big city!
