During an oil change this week I also gave the engine a once over inspecting all levels/ filters and a few spark plugs.
I noticed that the plug colours a on the greyish side; car driven prior to the check WFO in 2nd to 6k rpm. Engine is stock with new oil, good compression and the intake system was rebuilt last winter with the injectors cleaned and balanced.

hmm I thought that the slightly tan/red hue was high speed glazing, I will have to look that up again.
I just checked mine yesterday and have a tan colouring on them with a tinge of reddish.

Here's a great thread on reading your spark plugs, but you may have to "register" to see all of the pictures: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=121401
