There is a big business doing movie car rentals. I have been to a couple warehouses that are full of all kinds of cars/trucks you name it. The funny one is the backwards cars where they mount a body backwards add a steering wheel and pedals in the rear seat (sideways) so the stunt man car drive a car backwards at 80 MPH (fast furious) .The Death Race Cars were weird with what looked like one inch steel plate welded all over the XJS Jag ....but was all fake plastic looked so real that my son in law had to touch it. New Startrek prequill Jon Luc at the acadamy drives a 1964 Stingray so two cars were modified to look the same , movie co always wants a back up car , just in case something happens to one the shooting can still go on !
