Rear wiper parts
Hi,
I'm looking for some parts for my rear wiper. First part is a rubber grommet that rests on the body of the hatch, over the bolt that the left (if you're looking at the back of the car) wiper arms sits on. And then, on the underside of the hatch, there is a bolt that fits thru a metal bracket and then attaches to a threaded hole in the hatch. Both of these parts are missing and I suspect is causing a little leak (grommet) and an alignment issue with the wiper arm.
Thanks,
Eric

Err... pictures...?
First one is easy you can get the donut grommets from a supplier...
e.g http://www.mailordercentral.com/928i...t_on=&sort_by=
Is the second a part of the wiper drive plate - I can't envisage what you are describing...

Call Roger in the morning, I know I've got some here at the house, and I think there are a few at his place from our "rear wiper deletes"

Eric,
As Sean Said, Roger will probably have the parts. If he does not, we could probably throw bits and pieces his way to send to you. We have at least 10 cars here in DFW land that we've done WIPER DELETE on.

Chuck,
Do you have any of the rubber snubs to stop the arms rattling please? Piece that slides on lower arm, has a tapered top? CUrrently using black tape to prevent rubbing and noise.

Roger,
Pet does not show the part I speak of. Imagine a rubber cube ~8mm side, with a slot cut part way through (so it can clip onto the wiper arm), and then a triangular section facing the other wiper arm - like a kids drawing of a house. I have seen them on several cars here in Oz, but nobody knows a part# or where to get one.
tks

Not a great picture - but this is the part...
Note that the triangular section on mine faces down and the flat part is what stops the pantograph wiper arms from smacking together.
I don't believe this has been altered - seems to work correctly - others?
The triangular part seems to ensure the wiper blade is located correctly when parked and that it also doesn't smack the lower arm...?
And yes my rear wiper blade doesn't look at all like stock..,. its an adapted & longer Bosch Icon.

Alan,
Thats the baby. I have seen it fitted both ways up IIRC - on top arm pointed down, ob bottom arm pointing up. Doesnt matter, as long as it stops the arms touching. Currently have black tape on lower arm.
