What tire size should I run on the following wheels on my 1987 928S4?

Default What tire size should I run on the following wheels on my 1987 928S4?

Thanks for the tire suggestions, I believe I will try the PS2 or Good year F1. Y'all have been very helpful.

I just bought a set of Cup wheels per below. What tires sizes will fit? What will work best?

17 x 7.5 52mm offset Front
17 x 9.0 47mm offset Rear

225 x 45 / 255 x 40

Absolutely. 225/45 and 255/40. (F1's)

you can run up to a 245 in front, and a 275 in the rear.

If you like crisp turn in and don't like sloppy tire roll in the twisties and definitely plan to stick with 17's, go with the 225/255 arrangement. G

I have 275 rears on my car and it is tough to spin them from a dead stop. 255 are more spinable.
