Help with Cam belt covers
I've been looking for a good used set of cam belt covers (complete set )
and came accross some and don't know if they'll work. I think they are
for the 85-86 motors. Question >> will they work on an 87 & up mtr (mine)
below are the pt #'s ----- Thanks..
Cam belt cover (A) 928 105 145 09
Cam belt cover (B) 928 105 146, 2R
Cam belt cover (C) 928 105 144 04
Inner plastic cover = 928 105 147 05
Inner aluminum cover plate, 928 105 148 2R
Iinner aluminum cover plate, 928 105 127 4R

I'm guessing they won't fit, but if I were you, I'd look on-line at both 928 Specialists and 928 Int'l. It can be frustrating trying to find the correct part, but you should be able to find a part number to compare MYs.

Cam Belt Covers. (Not Cam Covers as in my now-deleted post).
The answer is no. The center belt cover is different. The r/l covers have different part numbers too.
