Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...Anybody got a spare 59K lying around?

'93, '94, and '95 5-spd GTS's, turn 'em upside down and they all look the same.
2 years newer makes it $20-24k more? Maybe the lower production number would pull $10k more, but not the age difference. For $60k I would want well under 20k miles and a single owner.

I've seen that car sitting outside his house on & off w/in the last few years. This guy's got a stable & a half. Those three cars in the background are just highlights of some of the wheels that this guy has.
During a fun run after a VA shark get-together last year, I pulled into his driveway with 6 or 7 sharks behind me hoping to get him to join us. He didn't seem to be around. That would have been an impressive image had he been there and looked out his window.
I kind of hope he doesn't sell it. That would keep this GTS as well as Chuck Z's '95 in McLean....just a hop over the river.

Of all the cars in the posted picture, the 928 is BY FAR the sleekest and nicest looking of the bunch... Not that I am biased about these things... Seriously, the 928 just looks.... BETTER...STILL!

Of the cars shown in the picture, the GTS would clearly be my favorite - independent from value.
It seems it has supple leather seats, but the leather has shrunken a bit to be flat. At least I can't see the perforation, nor much of the gathered look. Much of the rest of the interior is vinyl - apart from the rare 5-speed and CD changer, this car seems pretty standard to me.
I like yours better! I'm serious...

No, I don't believe the roof liner was EVER full leather, unless special ordered through the Exclusive program.
In 91 and later cars, only seats, door panel inserts, shifter, and steering wheel were standard leather. The leather package that my car has includes A-pillars, headliner trim around sunroof, front and rear visors, upper door panel, door handles and storage lids, hatch trim, inside quarter panel, center storage and rear AC enclosure.
Leather dashes, consoles, and arm rests were not officially available in the US after 1986, AFAIK. The reason I heard through the Porsche grapevine is that they did not have a glue strong enough to prevent the leather from moving as it dries and shrinks in the heat. Apparently, now that there is Helmi Pur (sp?) this is no longer a problem.

He doesn't know that he doesn't need to remove the jump post cover to start the car, which he had to jump to get out of the garage b/c it has the original battery (if the spare has never been removed from the trunk as he says). Well, that is what one might conclude.
I'm pimping. JK. Really nice. I hope he gets his price.

As already mentioned, the numbers quoted are not even close to accurate.

Almost true. Some truly are innocent, untarnished, never sullied, 99 and 44/100% Ivory pure virgins with nary a skeleton or even a chopped off finger in the closet. Right James?
