Great Color, Never seen, a 928 in Pearl White, Probably similar paint to what Audi used in the 80s. I had a 87 5000cs quattro in Pearl white it was a striking color in person. I know that Audi stopped using their original Pearl white around 1990-1991 because it was very expensive due to the real Mother of Pearl in the paint, rather than Mica crystals, that are commonly used now.
Thanks all for your kind comments. Just went down to the garage to stare for a moment... and take a pic of these tags which appear to be on every painted body part. Hood, doors, hatch, fenders... just at quick glance.
My guess it has something to do with the painting process.
Jim Porsche used those tags on all cars prior to 1989 IIRC. If you have them on all the panels you can be certain they are original.
How about some more pics of the inside.
Afshin,
I wondered... but my 84 doesn't have them.
Pics will be coming soon. The interior needed a detailing, so I tore it apart yesterday and haven't got it all back together yet. Right now the the seats are covered in Lexol and saran wrap.

928 Owners are ".....a secret sect of quietly assured Porsche pragmatists who in near anonymity appreciate the prodigious, easy going prowess of the 928."
Thanks fellas... Damn, that was a lot of work. Washing leather, dressing leather, vacuum carpet, wetvac carpet, reglue carpet here and there, replace a missing snap or this and that.
I'll tell you in comes in handy to have an extra box of brick-a-brack interior parts. Plus a 2nd 928. Chewy is not happy right now.
