Default Perlglanz 928, just picked it up.

I'm very happy to announce a new to me 928. Just picked it up yesterday. The whole deal worked out great!

Quick stats: 87 S4, #1305, Pearl White "Perlglanzeffekt" 947, Black interior w/white piping, 5 speed w/LSD, sport suspension, no rub strips, folding wing, 82K. Bone stock.

It's in really good condition. I'm the 3rd owner, owned by the OO up 'til 2003. She took good care of it. Records since day one.

Needs a timing belt. It's only been 15K, but 10 years on the belt. Belt looks good though I won't chance it. Needs motor mounts too. Small dent on the rear quarter.

I would like to thank Chris for loaning his truck and making the trip with me. Roger T, Andrew O, Dave L for your advice and assurance.

Here's a few pics from the trip.

Wow, that was a great grab!!

Can we ask what you give for it? Just wondering how our market is doing.

I have my '87 S4 auto with 85k miles priced at $16k and just paid $36,500 for my as-to-be-delivered '93 GTS 5-spd with 41k miles.

Thanks everyone!

David, we can talk offline.

Stan, I'm on it. Will be ordering the fuel lines at the same time I get a Porkension'r.

I'm really thrilled. I'll post some pics of the interior after a get it put back together. Did a tear down and clean out today. No major surprises.

Exceptional car. With documents.

Efficient, effective and fun mission.

Jim drove, I got to watch hundreds of motorists on I-95 crane necks and contort themselves trying to get a better look. Crazy-cool color.

The little boat in the picture link is, what, 4 stateroom / >60 feet long?

BTW, we are good at this. Need another mission.

Nice find Jim!

Always loved Pearl White, great color and definitely unique. I bet it will look stunning after some polishing and a wax.

Can't wait to see more pics.

Chris,
The more I think about it... "trusty sidekick" just doesn't cut it. More like a "partner in crime", I would say.

Gorgeous car. That's my favorite paint color. I also agree that the wheels need to go...

Hey nice score, congrats the car looks great. I actually like the way the wheels look on it, but yeah some sharp newer shoes would probably look even better.
