Hey, the stepson gets my attention. Whaddaya talking about? I love them all like chillens, they're all different. Some just got defects LOL. I just got my choice of which one(s) to work on.

Yesterday for example, I worked on the stepson first, the green car next, then the rauchquartz car for a few minutes.

Today, it will be the green car, then the rauchquartz car, then take the stepson to be inspected. Last opportunity to be emissioned for the stepson.

Tommorow, I will get the new to me front springs and the shocks and it will be green car getting worked on.

After that, well, that's too far ahead to plan for me, but at some point, I'll get back to the blue car.

I thought you guys got together this weekend... my bad.

Guess that means I have to wash it and drive it up on Sat. As of now looks like I will be there... with check in hand for Roger.

Im with you on the inspection thing.... passed last year. The lady did not want to pass it because she did not have the adapter for the gas cap! Not my problem. With a little persuasion she slapped a sticker on it!

blandis, we met last weekend as well [30th of Aug] in Plano. Stretch was in town picking up a car, so they held an impromptu gathering.

correct if I'm wrong, but didn't that car come from Victorville (via eBay)....?

I assumed (i know, never should) that was the monthly meeting.

if so, it was on eBay in late '06, Victorville, CA, hence the lousy faded paint.

Sat in the high desert under the sun for many years---

PO didn't know what they really had, until I inquired about the engine stampings. After that, the price doubled.

Still has CA tags. Don't know about Victorville, though. I got it from Austin area. Kalifornia is too far for me to go.

Sean, there are 24 hours in every day. It just depends on how you want to use them. Sleep is over-rated anyhow.

I too was wondering if this was an OC GTG. I'm a member and didn't hear anything about it.

Oak Grun (same as my Euro---well, not currently), M28/11, 5-speed, green interior......faded paint on upper surfaces---yep, same eBay car. Sold for over $6K in Dec '06 from Victorville, CA. Came close to buying it......would have been a nice twin to mine.

interesting-----hope you got a better deal.
