Thumbs up Sharks in Hell 08 sound-off

Hi all,

I've just spent a very enjoyable 5 minutes watching the Sharks in Hell sound -off. I guess it helps that my PC is now hooked up through my 32" LCD tv and the sound goes directly through the hi-fi :-)

For those that haven't seen it, here's the link:

Anyway, my question is, whose is the beautiful purple OB with 5 spoke alloys, and what exhaust system are you running? That is pretty much my perfect sound! Nice and deep, burbly but not too raucouse. I love it!

Cheers
Joel

The Weissach sounded incredible. I'll bet it's headers, a y-pipe/single and a nice muffler. Nothing beats a single for sound, but a dual has the edge on power.

Sueden's Weissach is the most awesome sounding 928 I've ever heard!

Ok so give, what's the exhaust? I've got a little mad money and I'm thinking exhaust is next on the list. That sound is just fantastic!

I think Dennis is running a Borla exhaust in his Weissach.
BTW, the Sharks in Hell video is on Yahoo! if you are interested too:

OK I've just checked the credits and the car I'm talking about is "John"'s burgundy 84 (it has no rear spoiler so fooled me into thinking 79)... so John, who are you, where are you and what's your exhaust setup!

Cheers

Joel

PS: The Weisssach was too raspy for me personally.

I went back and listened and you're right, John's car sounds great. (forgive me) It's more of a nascar-style sound, more metallic, while the Weissach has more of a cammy sound. I wonder what the differences are? Bigger bore? Ok guys, give us the details!

Exactly, it's a NASCAR-like rumble, also known as the "Riva inboard while idling at Monaco harbor" sound. I LOVE it.

Please someone, tell me what that system is.

Joel
79 5spd bone stock - needs exhaust upgrade but sounds pretty sweet as it
87 S4 5spd LSD with x-pipe - still too quiet

So... any sign of "John" of the burgundy 84... I'd love to know what that exhaust is...
