Huh ...

The discussion died, when I mentioned the Pacer. No pun intended. In fact, I will make it up to You guys with a new picture of a new 928 combi.

In my oppinion this is the best looking 928 combi. It seems to be well made, and according to the picture text it is shown at the Porsche museum.

Ragnar,

I don't think the discussion died because you mentioned the pacer, that has been discussed here before, there is even video where a 928 morphs into a pacer.

I belive the same person designed the Pacer and the 928 (or at least was part of the design team). They really are remarkably similar! To me that is not a problem, it just show how important proportions are...

The amethyst metallic ASC 4-door is now on display at the brand new Porsche museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

I hope to go there in the summer and find out what the real relationship is between the Porsche company and this car. Too many mysteries and conflicting info so far.
