Amusing traffic story......
Recently the hood of my 928 was the an unwilling ashtray for someone's cigarette flung from the hand of a well dressed, attractive, young, oblivious woman in a car who's driver was waiting to turn left at a red light. My car was alongside as i was waiting to proceed straight ahead.
I calmly got out, picked the lit cigarette from my hood and returned to my driver's seat. Just before the light turned red, I threw the lit cigarette onto the girl's lap exclaiming: "Here, you must have dropped this on my car by accident". She heard me but did not notice the cigarette at first. I heard her screaming and saw her jumping around in her seat as i was pulling away at the now green light.
Surely you admit that I really know how to impress a woman............

A little smokey brown stain which rubbed out with a rag and soapy water. I am glad that i keep the car waxed well. Regarding guns- I can only hope that i choose my battles carefully.

This story saves my day -
finally someone gets one of these door-dinger/parking lot runaway/totally negligent people!
Sorry to hear about your hood - but, seems like it "buffed out" all right.
Dumping a cigarette on the hood.. this is exactly the kind of story that upsets me;
I mean - why in the world would someone do something like that..

I was walking on a sidewalk near a traffic light and I saw a car stop at the light, open their door and put out a bag of fast food trash. I put it back in their car through the sunroof as they were pulling away. It was great!

Awesome Allen! I hope some other motorists watched your situation play out from their cars. I can imagine watching a guy in a 928 calmly pick up the cig from his hood and get back in his car, wondering, "What's going on here?", and then when you pulled away and threw it back at the girl, thinking, "Now THAT is what I am most seriously talking about!"
Beautiful.
