Hi Erik,

I fully intend on picking this up. I have already made arrangements with a friend in the area that is going to pick it up for me. We are just working on figure on the details. Location, timing, etc.

Thanks to a lot of help from Hans, the rack has been installed along with a cool Alpine headunit. And a BIG THANKS to Chuck Z as well!

All that's left is the sub tub fabrication… all materials on hand. A few pics to make this thread more meaningful:

Default Progress Update

More Progress, hoping to have this done before SITM. Working on MDF and Fiberglass sub enclosure now… things are about to get stinky around here.

If you guys don't have one of these build it or buy it they look excellent. Here's the one I just did minus the speaker grills.

Default It's finally back to it's old former glory

The final steps: Grind, Glue, Screw, Paint, Redo (to recess grill), Cover, Fill, Wire, Install.

Now all that’s needed is some fine tuning and it will be ready to rock all the way to SITM!

Probably should clarify the title… the original posting was for a free custom amp rack.

Since then I’ve ‘invested’ well over a thousand dollars and probably about 40 hours of work to get it where it is today. Needless to say, I won’t be selling it anytime soon… mainly posting just to show that it really went to good use.

Anyhow, tonight is the night I get to finally hear what this thing can do. Hans and I are going to tune this using the Alpine Imprint technology. It’s relatively new technology that allows one to use a microphone and a laptop to do what used to take professionals weeks to create.
