Shane,
The wheels are the 996 5 spoke lightweight wheels. I think that they complement the car nicely.

Was just about to leave when checked voice mail, Dave Lloyd called, oh well, another weekend at home.

Hope those who travel up have fun, North End in Boston has some great Italian eateries.

Unhappy Bummer!

Oh man... For the first time in years I am able to bring my complete car to an event and it gets cancelled!
;-(

Guess they are afraid that all those tail heavy cars will get stuck on the wet grass!

I do hope they reschedule it rather than cancelling it completely.

So has anyone set any plans for tomorrow during the day in Boston? I plan on taking my DD and I'll have room to haul people back to Ricks afterwards if needed.

Been a beautiful day. Great gathering at Carl's and Amy's.
And Rick did a great job leading the motley train of sharks to Carl's.
Carl's got a great back yard.

And Amy was even brave enough to let us in the house.

What big ***** you have, Carl.

And tomorrow. We battle Hanna.

15 sharks, 1 951 and a mclaren mustang.
Everyone is coming back to my house, we will walk 2 blocks to the T and take the train into Boston. We plan on seeing Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Fanueil Hall, and the North End. The party later is at Rick's near the hotel, and possibly a drive on Sunday.
Trying to show everybody a good time, regardless of the weather.

Like my pendant lights? They are headlights from a 1913 Stevens-Duryea which was a big expensive hand built touring car made in MA.

Thanks Carl & Amy

Fantastic time and awesome collection of cars. Extra special thanks for letting a stock 951 hang in the shark infested waters. Hope the North End was a blast.

Folks, I will be leading a scenic, fun-drive, through the back roads of CT to get the South-bound folks on their way home. All are welcome. The drive will start in Sturbridge at the Piccadilly Restaurant and end near Old Saybrook. We are meeting at the Piccadilly at 10:15 AM Sunday morning (exit 3B off of I-84 just South of I-90; see map below). The drive will take about 4 hours. Any local folks can hop on 95/395 at the end and make their way home in time for supper.

Big thanks to Carl for letting us hang out at his place during the day yesterday. Very relaxing and good to have a chance to catch up with everyone. Carl nice kitch, I was going to ask about those lights but somehow was distracted (probably shark related).

Rick very nice job with the buffet last night. Please thank your family which I know spent a great deal of time helping and making it a great time. Very much appreciated. You have a beautiful place there and a great garage, thank you for your sharing it. Oh and tell Paul he needs to buy a shark.

Hope everyone made it back safely
