Default How do I test my vacuum system?

I have a rough running, poor acceleration issue that is persistent. Maybe it's bad gas (cycling through fresh gas and Techron in the meantime) but can anyone point me to a write up for a vacuum system test, if one exists? I do hear a hiss from the TB area and maybe the large o rings are the culprit. Barring that, is there something I could do with a vacuum pump to trouble shoot the lines?

Get a mity-mite and test each line as per insructions you can easily find with a few searches. Some descriptions of the process were easy to follow and some weren't. I was pleased that I only had a bad connection and all is fine now.
