Question Vacumm Line from Tranny on Murf Stage III?

On the install of a Murf Stage III should the vacumm line from the auto Tranny stay at the 5 way splitter from the intake or be moved behind the check valve for constant vacumm??

Also what about the vacumm line going to the vacumm pod in the line going to the charcoal cannister?

I would say for the tranny line, no as you want it to see the change in pressure for less dragging of the clutches,

cant answer the other one though.

My guess is you are correct on the tranny. Before the install the tranny was completely normal. Now after the install and a 1st spin around the block I can't keep the tranny under control. Shifts wildly up a gear with the slighest acceleration.

The tranny modulator responds to vacuum (not boost) seen only on partial or closed throttle. You would not want it to see vacuum all the time.

As regards the gas vapor recirculation, you can leave that vacuum (now vacuum/boost) line connected to that valve. BUT in boosted cars, the gas vapor recirculation hose should be disconnected at the front of the motor, where it joins the breather hose (actually just disconnect the electrical plug that controls a valve where that hose joins the breather). Otherwise boost could potentially inflate the gas tank. I saw this occur in George Suennen's car.

Tim should be able to advise you more specifically.
