Please tell me what you think of this water pump. I have no experience with water pumps but would like to get this one if it fits. Is this one ok for a 89 S4?

This pump is for an early 928,

2 things give it away, the pivot bolt hole boss is raised, and there is a gasket for the oil drainback hose which is found on 16V engines.
