I changed my spider rubbers
After a leak test showed up some leaking rubbers on my spider I decided to change them and go for something a bit different. I bought a length of 51mm id high temp silicone hose in red and a bunch of new clips and set about cutting it into bits. An amount of trial and error found the easiest and the way that gave the best finsih to the ends to cut it was to slide a clip on the hose and put it and exactly the right place I wanted to cut (just to make sure it was an even size all the way round). Then I laid some masking tape up tight to the clip and slid the clip out of the way for cutting with a fine tooth hacksaw.
Then cut on my good man
Only 7 more to go
I also cut one out of a larger diameter piece for the section at the bottom of the plenum
And then the task of fitting them all. I now have no skin left on my fingers but its looking good in the engine bay.

here in the US, Sears (Craftsman) makes a hose cutter that uses a 4 inch long razor blade. there are smaller sized cutters available as well.
it makes short work of hose cutting--- straight, no effort, easy.....
yours is a nice looking setup--

Doesn't help much tho', but the logo on the hoses matches too.
